Today, I got back from a service trip to Kenya, where I had no running water or electricity. I encouraged my friends to go green and help raise awareness by conserving as much electricity as possible. I return home to find that all my lights have been on for 2 weeks. FML

i hope u have enough money for your bill!

Look at it this way, you've balanced it out by conserving there and wasting in your house! Well, in this day you probably saved your house from being burgled coz it looked like you were at home! mistakes are lessons learnt =P

I'll "go green" as soon as you're the one paying my bills.

When you have your mind on things such as packing you forget some of the most obvious things. Try making a list beforehand. I know it sounds silly but list all the things that you need to do and check them off. Good job trying to encourage people to go green. Just try to do it yourself in future. :)

Ironic. Well done, next time you will remember (I Hope).

This is why you shouldn't be a ******* dick about conservation.

That sux. But maybe if u go without electricity for 2 weeks, it'll even out the bill. Good job on tryin to get people to go green tho :-)

oh i love hypocrits like you. YDI

well, unless you went to kenya via donkey and sailing boat, Im guessing you used a plane... which is much more polluting than a few lights left on. Gotta love these 'enviormentalists' xD
