Today, I got sick in the airsick bag as my flight landed. The woman next to me, trying to make me feel better, says "Don't handle landings too well?" I responded "No, I actually fly fine, I'm just 8 weeks pregnant." She looked at my left hand, noticed no ring, rolled her eyes and looked away. FML

You people do realize that not all people exchange rings when they are getting married. My cousins are SDA and they don't believe in wedding rings. They have three kids and I would hate for people to look down on her just b/c she isn't wearing a ring when she has been married for many years now.

Some people don't believe in a god, so the choose to not be married under a god. Marriage is a religious concept; if you don't have a religion, why bother getting married? Just because someone isn't married doesn't mean they can't have kids. That lady was quite rude :(

I hate people like that! I'm almost 3 months pregnant and at my job the woman that come in ALWAYS look at my ring finger for a ring once they find out. My boyfriend and I are in a VERY loving relationship but that doesn't mean we have to be married to have a baby....Yes getting married one day is in our plans but just because we are going to have a baby doesn't mean we will rush into something like getting married.

Morals is bullshit. Everybody should live their lives as they want, and "being moral" or "not being moral", you keep it to yourself, like the amish, and you think you are going to heaven, and let others burn in hell. Telling people how to live, and how "bringing a kid into the world while you're not married" (or not show a sign of) is "wrong', THAT's immoral.

Who gives to craps if she is married or not!? Everyone who is being judgemental should go **** themselves! My dad married and left my mom when I was three! My parents were married when my mom had me and my siblings but was in the worst marriage possible! My dad was an asshole and treated her like shit! I would imagine that she would have rather been not married because of how she was treated. In the long run she raised alone anyways and she did a great job! Congrats OP on the baby!

It was rude of her to roll her eyes at you. Maybe you were married but not wearing a ring... or whatever. Let's just say, nobody got married anymore, and then we have all these pregnant women who had sex with their boyfriends. Then one day, daddy decides: "I'm tired of this person I want to go **** someone else. Why be loyal?". Then here's mom, all alone to raise her child. Maybe some of you have done that and don't care but then later in life they will really regret it. I'm not beig narrow minded. Maybe most of you have no problem with this. Everyones different anything might happen. But people would get married because they find a person worth commuting their lives to. I understand things may change and problems occur so it could happen in a marriage too. I guess I grew up in a protected world where everyone I know is in a healthy family relationship.
