#205, can you explain why you'd find it hard to believe that any real Christian would be reading FML? Is it because "****" is in the title and real Christians eschew the word so much, anything affiliated with it is anathema? I'm not trying to attack your statement, I really am just curious and would appreciate if you elaborated more on it. Thx :-)
To those wondering why I find it hard to believe... There are a lot of self-proclaimed Christians attacking this woman for being an unmarried mother. Which, obviously, we don't know is necessarily true. It seems odd to me that someone who believes in marriage before children would frequent a website with "****" in the title. >.>
205, believe it or not, I AM a real Christian even considering going into the ministry someday. And this website makes me laugh my butt off. And I am not even one who hates people who use "****", I use it myself occasionally. So yeah, just letting you know. You know, some people are perfectly happy with being unmarried. I see nothing wrong with having a child out of marriage if you're truly in love and you would protect and nurture said child to the fullest extent.
but are you married because i was and i didnt wear my ring all the time
im confused. so is OP married and isnt wearing her ring, or is she not married? either way, FYL
Regardless of what you think of the OP's pregnancy, the fact remains that treating people with contempt and dismissal is at best impolite and at worst wrong. All the Christians on here giving this woman shit make me laugh. The first stone's been thrown and then some. Hypocrites. :-D (Sorry, that word gets bandied around a lot doesn't it? Well, go figure...) Besides, how pretentious of you or anyone to pretend that you can judge a person's entire worth based on one bad decision! It's kinda' like hating a song after hearing just one note. :-p
Anyway, like my boyfriend and i say, christians in the us, are catholics just like the others Real protestants do not have a church and do not try to convince people to join them, they do what they want and think about whatever they think god will or not blame them for it. Its between the protestant and god, no church, no pastor, no lectures no shit.
I was born out of wedlock and my brother was still a 4 month old fetus when my parents got married. 18 years later, me and my brother grew up to be really normal and our parents are just as happy as they were when they were a high school couple (absolutely no divorce in sight, ever, they run a company together). There's no need to worry about what others think, your kid will be fine whether it was born in wedlock or not. I was also raised as a freethinking atheist =D Bring the flame, bitches

You people do realize that not all people exchange rings when they are getting married. My cousins are SDA and they don't believe in wedding rings. They have three kids and I would hate for people to look down on her just b/c she isn't wearing a ring when she has been married for many years now.
Some people don't believe in a god, so the choose to not be married under a god. Marriage is a religious concept; if you don't have a religion, why bother getting married? Just because someone isn't married doesn't mean they can't have kids. That lady was quite rude :(
