Just do it on time and you'll be fine
A lot of companies will reprimand you for this. Just be on time. It's not that difficult.
Sounds like someone's out to get you.
Sounds like you work at Captel. I had that too when I worked there.
Way back in the day, I was a manager at a grocery store. Company policy called for clocking out for at least 30 minutes for lunch for shifts longer than 5 hours. It was all computerized, and one of my jobs was to monitor it and make corrections, if needed. There was a dairy manager who would constantly take 20-25 minute lunches, no matter how many he times he was told to clock out for 30. I worked a different shift, so I rarely saw him. The store manager eventually wrote him up for it, and it stopped. Late a few minutes back? Who cares?
Maybe you should just try being in time...
You get punished for making a shorter brake? How messed up is this? In Germany employment law requires a 30-minute break for 8 hours of work. And since I am a nurse my break often just does not happen. Does that mean I am a bad employee? Luchbreak-facism, wow...
Try clocking in RIGHT when the time signals the given amount (not too early or late, right on spot) and see what happens.

Try and be right on time is the only advice I can offer.
Jeez, is he trying to keep the office in lockdown or something?
