Well of course if you come back late you'll hear about it. Early depends on how early you show up because too early isn't good. Just come back as close to on time as possible or even on time.
Use a phone timer to alarm you as soon as your lunch break time is up. I use it all the time.
Pack a lunch and bring it with you...
someone's on there period this week.
Op, do you work for walmart? That sounds like something they would do
Getting written up for coming back early? That's possible?!
Sorry, as a former manager in fast food I have to say you deserved it. You cannot clock in early and you cannot clock in late. Mangers are under pressure from higher ups about labor numbers. For me I had to make sure labor costs were under 20% of net profits for the day and no one can work more than 130 hrs a month. For a store that only make 1500 a day (very low considering it was one of the larger franchises) with near random/awkward busy periods that's hella difficult. I had to have a certain amount of people working, give them enough hours that it was legal, but don't let them work too much. D: Don't clock in before your break is up and be back exactly when your break is over. There some serious meanies in the upper levels that will have your manager's jobs if they don't make good numbers so they can be a bit harsh about clock in/out times. I hated doing this but I also needed the job. Thank god I'm out of that :P Heads up for anyone heading into minimum wage jobs!
I set alarms on my phone to make sure I don't go too long.
Yep...I remember getting in trouble like that. Go to school then get a degree and a job where you don't have to watch the clock as much.

Try and be right on time is the only advice I can offer.
Jeez, is he trying to keep the office in lockdown or something?
