I like how everyone seems to be ignoring the likely possibility that the OP was referring to before/ after the surgery. O: I had an ex who had wisdom teeth pulled, and I recall him telling me he said some crazy stuff.

This reminds me of that episode of Hey Arnold where they use laughing gas on Helga and she gets up and calls Arnold to tell him she loves him. . . then she spends the rest of the episode trying to get her hands on the answering machine tape. Good times. My ex recently got his wisdom teeth extracted but they put him to sleep for it. But I imagine they don't always. And yeah, it could have been before or after the surgery that they started babbling about their personal lives.

#98 Thank you! My dad is a dentist and when he pulls teeth he waits a few minutes to make sure everything is running smoothly. It's not like he says "ooohh well shes under now, then pulls out the teeth" and for everyone who is saying "how can you remember this" most of the time someone tells you that you said those things..
