Yeah, the wording of this makes it feel like a glorified pissing contest of 'who has the hottest partner' which is silly and inane way to judge lives, as well as really offensive to your girlfriend. So while I think you're kind of a dick, I wouldn't say YDI because I doubt that your picking on him made him a multimillionaire, etc, etc. Far more likely he was driven from a young age and given an opportunity. Instead, welcome to the party of craptastic lives! Also I find all the nerdrage really amusing, as an outside perspective. Seeing as I was (still am, natch) trans, bi, reclusive, and depressed during highschool all y'all took shots at me so I get some measure of Shaedenfreude from hearing you bemoaning your fates... And, as has been said before: 7-11 is a job like any other. You just have to put up with more of strangers hating on you. Coming from a retail wage-slave, too. You gotsta do what you gotsta do. This is getting longer than intended, but I find the 'nerds go to college after highschool, jocks don't' statements kinda offensive, too. Not everyone has enough money to go to a college directly from highschool due to extenuating circumstances, and jocks' lives are no different. We're all folk, and all our lives suck. Some just more acutely.
