But....Christian Grey is a disgusting abusive asshole. He manipulated a naive virgin woman into signing a contract that allowed him to physically and mentally abuse her. It makes me sad that there are women out there who think those books accurately depict BDSM....or a healthy relationship for that matter. D:
I don't know what's worse... The fact that there are three of these awful books, or the fact that Hollywood is in talks to make a 50 Shades of Grey movie. D:
Also remember, the character of Christian Grey was modeled after the author's husband and (as someone mentioned earlier) a twilight fanfiction originally. Your ex is a psycho with a capitol "P"
I have actually read that book (as i have seen Twilight movies) not because i like it, but just because i wanted to know, what the fuzz is about. And that book, is the worst book i have read for a long time. SPOILER In the end that girl gets her ass slapped 6 times with belt, she runs away crying and that is how the damn book ends. Biggest bullshit ending ever. I feel sad, that my Bf had to spend money to buy it for me.
But she comes back for the second book and then just to prove that the story is ****** up, they get married in the third. It's an abusive relationship that can be read from beginning to the illogical end. Terrible, simply terrible books.
Thanks for the info, now i know, what is in next books, no need to waste time to read them. 50 shades of Gray is as good information source for your sex life as Cosmopolitan articles. Short - they both are bad. Terribly bad.
Burn them quick! It's like twilight...
I actually like the books, but some of the chicks that read it go way too far.
I want the same thing to be honest, but my boyfriend has a pretty low libido. HOWEVER, sex is not worth breaking off something as beautiful as love. That's crazy. It obviously wasn't love for her.
Are you talking about wanting the same relationship as the characters in the movie? Because let me help you out there. The relationship that Anastasia had with Christian was horribly abusive. Her very emotions were dependent on how HE felt. She was forced to play to HIS sexual needs and bow to his wants and ****** up mommy issues. Christian was possessive as all **** and to top it all of he ****** up the emotions and life of a naive virgin who never had experience with love or relationships. He taught her to live for pleasing him, and she fell for it like some pathetic drug addict who needs just one more hit. And that just describes the emotional part. The sexual part is totally ridiculous. Sex is amazing when there is an emotional connection and when both partners aim to please each other. But it is not as explosive as those books made it seem. No woman is able to ****** just from recieving a look from her lover. In short, he treated her like shit and she ate it up and called it destiny and true love. Don't fall for that, relationships are supposed to be a harbor for you to be yourself and have someone take care of you and love you without hurting you. They aren't supposed to make you feel like you can't live without them and make you doubt the independent person you are. I think every woman wants a man who dominates her in bed, but there is a healthy way to do that doesn't leave you feeling like shit about yourself and doesn't degrade you.
She sounds too immature to be dating. Bullet dodged

Just remember that 50 Shades of Grey is originally a Twilight fanfiction. You're probably better off without her.
Well, tell her you're even since she's not able to please you like Sasha Grey. :P
