drop out of school and u never have to worry about writting a 10 page essay again =O)
If you're at university/college check your unit outline (if you have one), if it doesn't specify that you need to use black pen, bring it to the attention of your teacher. If you're in highschool and your teacher didn't say that you needed to write in black pen, ask if you can resubmit it written in black. Good luck :)
Insane. It's things like that that cause people to go on shooting rampages :|
Photocopy it and turn it in again.
I do feel bad for you, but unless your teacher is a COMPLETE JERK they probably did insist you use black ink several times and failed you for not heeding multiple warnings... If you can't recall any such warnings I'd advise you challenge the grade or at least ask to be permitted to resubmit it...
Your teacher is a asshole. It's hard being a blue pen in a black pen world. I bet they arn't fans of the smurfs either.
now that's just plain silly for your teacher to do something like that...
That sucks, man. Rules like that have no business existing.
You're kidding, right? An academic document should always be written in black. If blue is allowed why not green and orange and hot pink too? It's a no-brainer.
Yes, why not any of those colors? Can you cite a reason this rule is necessary?
Do you have any idea how much easier black ink is to read than a bright pink pen? There are yellow pens, too. Yellow is the bitchiest thing to read, but if it's allowed and it's the closest pen... Black is easy to read, it's easy on the eyes. I don't even take notes in colors besides black most of the time.
lol
Almost all academic documents should be typed and not hand-written. Typing is neater and clearer to read. It gets rid of those who have bad handwriting.

It didn't list such an important requirement somewhere?
