Today, I had to meet with my landlord to organise when he was coming to look at my flat and decide whether I get my deposit back. In the time it took to see him, my friend drank a bottle of vodka and vomited all over my room and knocked the window through. My landlord is coming in the morning. FML

Why are you friends with someone so horrible? Anyone who would do something so selfish and stupid is not a friend, they are just a jerk. It sucks that is happened to you, but maybe you should get different friends.

FML if your floor is carpet. otherwise, you can clean that up. as for your window...not sure how that could be fixed in one day. as for the window, if it's only broken on one half, put a little screen there and say the window is open

I've gotten my deposit back for leaving a clean apartment. It's not a myth, it's just that most people are pigs. Make your friend pay the deposit back to you if you don't get it.

I think your friend may have a problem and be trying to tell you something. This seems like an attempted suicide. A whole bottlte alone in the middle of the afternoon? Then he kicked out a window? He wanted to jump but started throwing up instead.

spot shot stain remover on carpet removes anything and i do mean anything, has saved my rent deposit many a times, as for the window....can't help you there.
