having same problem, saline water. they sell stuff called h2ocean.. working pretty well for me
Happened to me when I was younger. Had a nasty cyst and everything. Doctor removed the earring and I still have a small hole that never completely closed.
That happened to me when I was younger..it was a nightmare. My dad actually had to take tweezers and rip it out. It was terrible. Good luck?
For those who are saying it can't be an infection AND an allergy- nope, you are incorrect, sadly. Allergies can and do cause infections depending on what the allergy is, where the allergen is, and how long it takes to remove the allergen. People can even reject surgical-grade metals, and it can cause horrible infections that lead to scarring. Very bad scarring.
I hope you feel better OP. The same thing happened to me a year back. I was able to get the jewellery out but it hurt quite a bit. It would be good to see the doctor.
It can't be an infection if it's an allergic reaction... Take some benedryl and but ice on it... Then if you still can't get you eating off go to the ER they have ring cutters
Sea salt and warm water. Clean it 3-4 times a day with CLEAN hands. If it continues more than 3 days then go see your doctor and DO NOT take the jewlery out until you consult with your doctor.
I would recommend seeing a doctor to take out the jewelry. I had that happen to me once, and as soon as it was out, I had immediate relief. If in the future you'd like to have another ear piercing, I absolutely recommend getting titanium jewelry. It's more expensive, but most people don't react to it. Best of luck, OP!

It sounds like you have to cut off your ear.
See a doctor.
