Today, I have an infected piercing because I'm allergic to the metal. My ear is so swollen that I can't remove the jewelry. It won't get better until I'm able to remove the jewelry. FML

I've had this happen to me. Soak your earlobe in some hydrogen peroxide, it should loosen the earring. Then put a real gold earring in. Gold is a natural antibiotic.

This happened to me when I was a kid, go to a jeweler and have them cut the earring off.

u could try going back to the place it was pierced at and have them cut the jewelry off. your ear could continue to swell until the jewelry is pretty much buried inside your ear and then you would need to have it surgically removed. but on the bright side, you could probably get another fml published out of it. your call.

Try using Tea Tree Oil or H2Ocean :)

This happened to me and it left a giant scar in my earlobe :/ at least now I know to stay away from anything that isn't titanium.
