If you don't learn it eventually and it affects your performance maybe you should look for a job better suited to your abilities. That is if your job performance is being affected.

don't feel too bad, my co-worker has been with us since December and can't do the simplest task

I've been working at target for over 3 months now and still can't answer the phone without panicking. Should have seen me when it was just 1 month... I feel for you OP.

Same happened to me when I started my job at the greenhouse where I work. All try told me was to water the plants. I had quite a few customers asking we're certain plants were an I had to tell them I had no clue.
