#22, If im on the highway I will take my hands off the wheel, my alignment is good and im not going for any turns. I also drive a manual, I will still talk on my cell phone while driving and avoid crappy drivers like you who keep your hands at 10 and 2 and are far too uptight to be behind the wheel.
Please stahp.
i was just concerned as to whether or not everything turned out ok!! but you should be more careful with distractions in the car
cell phones + driving = bad idea. its not that complicated.
#24, FML is for situations that suck and the reporter wants some sympathy laughter to help get along with it. This guy that got hit? He deserves an FML. The original reporter deserves to be treated like the moron that s/he is. We need to make the guy that got hit feel better about having to share the roads with someone as irresponsible as this. Why not blow dry your hair while driving, or shave? Because you're in control of a two ton piece of metal going many miles per hour, thats why. Do you need to actually murder someone before you realize the gravity of what I'm saying? and once again, to all those people who say "you've done it," no, I have not. And I DO have a cell phone. And I DO have a car, and it is a manual. And no, no member of my family or friend circle has been killed by some idiot who talks and drives. Like I said before, Common Sense.
For the righteous police in this thread: get off your high horses. Most of you have used a phone in the car before. The only difference is, this guy was not coordinated enough to do it without crashing, which makes him a loser. The problem doesn't lie in phones, but rather in not holding your wheel straight or not looking at the road while trying to answer a call. I can eat, drink, drive a stick, and talk on the phone while driving. Has it gotten me into an accident? Not even close, I know my limits. This guy did not. As for the actual FML, you did deserve it but it has a special irony about it. It's like in the Matrix: "Would you still have broken it if I hadn't said anything?"

My biggest pet peeve is people driving like ******* idiots because they are occupied with their phone. You deserved it.
You people know that you've all done it before. Do you really want to throw the first stone here?
