Should have just your social security card instead!
Well, your stupidity is "paying off". Real bad. YDI, mate.
Lol. Try a piece of paper instead. Or essentially anything else not of any real value.
Next time use your social security card
loser
I won't dog ear my books because I am anal, but I would rather just note the page number in my head and look for it next time I open the book, rather than use any card of any importance, as a book can be easily misplaced/lost. Not to mention how easy it would be for the card to just fall out of place from the book anyways. Ydi
You won't dog ear your books because you're anal? Okay then
Yes, I like my books to be in pristine condition. Have you never heard the term anal used as such?
Anal is a synonym for picky, right?
Never heard of it that way
It's "anal retentive" but phrased as anal for short. It does mean picky but more to the point of obsession. I'm this way with my book collection.
I find tissues or old shopping dockets make good bookmarks, whatever is handy really. I'm a bit like you in that I like my books in good condition and refuse to dog ear them.
I've heard the term "anal" used in this context many times; I knew exactly what you meant. :)
Well, that was a bit silly
Pretty sure your book got stolen, not lost..

YDI for using something that important as a bookmark
So i guess buying a new book is out of the question.
