YDI SO Much. Why the hell would you use your credit card as a bookmark? For chrissake use a piece of paper, a gum wrapper, or just fold the damn page. Not trying to be a jerk, That totally sucks, but YDI.
what dumbass uses a credit card for a book mark
A hundred dollar bill would have worked just as well.
thats just stupid to use your credit card as a bookmark. just fold a piece of colored paper or something, jesus.
I guess it "pays" to hold on to a good book ohohoho
Although I'm going to admit that sucks, I'm gonna have to say that you deserved it.. I mean, couldn't you have used a price of paper? It makes more sense, doesn't it? If you lose the book and you were using a normal bookmark or a paper, you would be able to buy another book. Sorry, but this is on you.
To be fair, losing a credit card doesn't itself mean being unable to buy another book. It means hassle -- getting the card canceled and a new one with a different number sent to you, getting any autopays changed over to that new number, and contesting any charges that weren't yours if your credit-card company gives you any grief about that -- but unless whoever finds the card uses it before you cancel it, and/or your bank and/or card company is obnoxious about removing contested charges, there's no inherent loss of money.
I found a credit card in a book today...
