Today, I placed a Bible app next to an app I use for porn, in the hope that it will encourage me to watch less porn. I'm a girl. FML

The Bible clearly states that masturbation is a sin. I recommend you continue to watch ****, and throw your bible in the trash.

I'll bet you a thousand dollars you can't find a verse in the Bible that specifically calls masturbation a sin. Protip: You can't, cuz there isn't one.

Have you read your Bible? Genesis 38:8-10 is as clear as it gets about the abomination of "spilling your seed" except for the purpose of children. I.E. Masturbation.

I watched a biblical documentary and some scholars said that verse meant ANY situation in which a man cam outside of a ******. So masturbation, anal sex, oral sex, cuming during a wet dream, etc. is also a sin.

And most scholars disagree. It's about Onan not doing his duty to give his dead brother's wife a child (which is ****** up in and of itself), not masturbation.

It's people like you that really irritate me. It's great that you have your beliefs, but that's no reason to bash other peoples beliefs and act like your better than everyone. I'm not saying religious people never do stupid things or that the bible is 100% correct, but there is a way to be an atheist without being an asshole. And before you say anything, I myself am nontheistic. I just get fed up of self-proclaimed "atheists" acting like their in a one-person revolution telling other people how to live their lives, and acting no better than the people the supposedly oppose.

It's also quite clear about how incest is ok. Better all go do it then -.-

Of course, 261, how do you think the world started? There was Adam and Eve that had sons. Their wives came from nowhere (I'm assuming insest took place there) and then their wives and them had even more children. I myself am an athiest, but I've taken interest in the bible and have been reading it. I find nothing but hypocrisy within that book. I'm not bashing any religion, before anyone decides to throw that out there. That's just my opinion.

Last I checked, women do not have "seed" in their ejaculate (Most women don't even ejaculate during ******), so that verse doesn't apply to female masturbation anyways.

I'm a Christian, and I watch ****. I see nothing wrong with simply sating the urges God gave me.

Same here. I'm a Christian and I watch ****. I never ********** but I do watch it when I get extremely bored.

you seem like a good person, good luck :3

Sounds to me like the biggest problem here is you feeling like you need to be ashamed of your sexuality. Male or female, it's normal to be interested in sex. That being said, if you really want to watch less ****, then delete your **** app rather than putting a Bible app next to it.
