Since she rejected you I assume you proposed out of the blue. Perhaps this will teach you that next time you want a huge step forward in a relationship you should talk about it with your partner and figure out wether they want it too? You know, just because you want to marry doesn't mean your partner wants too. And you really do deserve this for not talking it over with her. I have no idea why some people still think that such surprises are a good idea... YDI. Big time.
