Today, I put on a pair of sneakers that I'd left outside, and went jogging. After several minutes of pain, I pulled off one of the sneakers, only to find dozens of baby spiders had moved in. FML

Check your old underpants for the momma spider

That's why you don't leave stuff outside.

That is ironic how I am afraid that will happen so I check every time I put on a shoe. My dad says I am crazy. Now I know I won't be the only one.

FYL!!!!! I'm TERRIFIED of spiders! I can't imagine what you must've thought seeing all of those spiders crawling out of your shoe. But, how did you not squish them??

I don't understand how it was painful... They should just've been crushed when you put your foot in the shoe, unless it's several sizes too big, in which case you shouldn't be jogging in them. But guessing it was a pain like a small pebble in the shoe, then? Anyway, jog more often, and spiders won't move into your shoes!

*shudders* I'm checking my shoes from now on

Instead of doing something drastic like everyone seems to suggest such as throwing your shoes away if they stay out overnight, try just shaking them out to see if anything comes out. I've been doing that for yours and have ran into a couple spiders. A few scorpions and one tiny snake. But I never just throw my shoes on without checking first.

My question is; how were the spider still alive? I would think they'd be smashed into gross goop.

I am really scared of spiders and i feel really sorry for you... Even though i hate spiders POOR SPIDERS

It's a miracle that they've survived in the shoes not longer after they've moved in lol

YDI for leaving your shoes outside. Spiders will make anything their home. Reminds me of the time I whacked a large spider with a broom, and a shit ton of baby spiders scurried from underneath.
