For the people saying "its okay we all do that from time to time," well I don't do that and that is certainly not normal. I am not trying to make fun of you OP or be mean, but you might have a mental illness and I suggest you go to a professional for help.
Just because you don't do it, it isn't normal? wow, narcissist much? so what's your training consist of that you're recommending professional help?
Maybe you're not the normal one. Most people talk to themselves when making a decision.
Actually, there's every possibility that YOU have a mental deficiency. It's a mechanism for cognitive development for people to talk to themselves. If you didn't catch that (and I wouldn't be surprised): People who talk to themselves are generally smarter than those who don't. Try researching Vygotsky and "private speech."
so?
loser
Who won??
Talking to yourself, or "private speech" according to Vygotsky, is an important cognitive tool and aids in more developed decision-making and reasoning skills. All research done on the matter supports the idea that talking to yourself is one of the smartest things you can do, especially when you're trying to figure something out.
don't be smart
you're not alone!
Erm..
