Today, I realized that I'll have to explain to my child that mommy and daddy met on World of Warcraft. FML

that's kind of cute? nerdy, yeah. but not terrible.

so what? that's better than having to tell them you met in a bar. me and my fiancé met on wow purely by accident. if you find the person right for you who gives a shit how you met. what is important is that you met. if you're ashamed than that's your problem and you need to figure out why you care what other people think. if you are happy that is what is important. I wouldn't change a thing about me and my fiance's relationship because he is the love of my life.

had to click ydi because that made it over 9000

Isn't that where everyone meets these days?!?

there's no shame on that situation.. I met my husband through myspace.. so it's all cool...

I don't see why you need to explain at all.

There is nothing wrong with that, I have met many great people through WoW and I don't think it matters how you met someone. The relationship is just as real.

So? Be proud of where you met! You met over something you were both interested in.. sounds normal to me..

So? I met my fiance when he had a (very loud) discussion with his friends on the actual chances of ******** bricks, and they dragged innocent bystanders into the argument. Big deal. Love happens wherever you look, at long as there's a real connection you should be happy. I mean, you're (about to be) married now, right? WoW isn't necessarily a loser game either, I know many people who play and none of them are fat, spotty, pasty slobs. (P.S. - apparently it comes down to nanobots and brick dust. Yes.)

I had a guidie from California who met his girlfriend in guild. He then went to live with her in Alberta for months.... But I haven't been online to know what ever happened with that.
