Today, I rear-ended a car on the parkway. We pulled over, the guy told me his car was fine, and then asked me out on a date. It was only when I said no that he decided he wanted his car fixed. FML

Since he saved you a chunk of money (depending on how bad the damage was) You should have kindly gone on a date with him.

All he wanted was to rear end your bumper if you know what I mean

this happened to me high school. a girl who i accidently waived to in the hallway decided to rear end my car to meet me. in my anger i said you better go DOWN on me now or im calling the COPS. we became 69 bed buddies ever since, even when ive had other girlfirends.

And, kids, that's how I met your mother. What a romantic story! A tale about your futile quest for love when it was staring you in the face all along.

I don't blame you. If you ended up saying yes, you'd probably be seeing the guy for a couple years. You know what the insurance laws are like in some states?

Ugh. Sounds similar to what happened to me. I got rear-ended by a drunk guy who asked me out when I made him pull over. **** you, Drunky.

I guess a pitty f*ck is out of the question with you too - good lord he was willing to look the other way which obviously meant he found you attractive enough to ask... YDI

Don't look a gift horse in the mouth, OP. You'd already smacked his car. YDI.

Dame, just because you're a lesbian doesn't mean you have to assume the worst about all guys.

So say that she had said yes. What's to say that he would have let it go at one date? He could have tried to blackmail her into sex or dating him for years over this. The fact that he decided that his car needed to be fixed (when it was "fine" before he asked) when she turned him down says that he may not have been satisfied with just one dinner. He would have held this over her head for as long as she allowed him to. I say good job, OP. Just pay the insurance so his car can be fixed.
