Today, I rear-ended a car on the parkway. We pulled over, the guy told me his car was fine, and then asked me out on a date. It was only when I said no that he decided he wanted his car fixed. FML

Today, I decided to be a good driver and not run through the yellow light. As soon as I stopped my car another came and rear-ended me. The guy told me to go in the parking lot so we can exchange information. So I drove into the parking lot, I turned my head and watched him drive away. FML

Today, I sat in bumper-to-bumper traffic for half an hour. The entire time, a man I had gone on a date with and that had gotten very out of hand with, was sitting in the car next to me. I noticed, panicked, and tried to drive off, rear-ending the car in front of me. FML

Today, I was driving home when a guy crashed into me from behind. I got out of my car and told him that I was going to call the cops. He then asked me if we could move to a corner because we were blocking the way, so we then got back in to move. I looked in the mirror to see him driving off. FML

Wow, the comments on here really make me wonder about some men and others on the thread. I would rather pay for the damage I caused like a responsible person. Does that make me a dumb bitch as some of you called OP? I guess so. Too bad OP never did a follow up. We have no idea what this guy looked like or his intentions for this 'date'. She could have gone on the date and then it turns out he wants more like sex or a bj or who knows what. Then when she says no to that, she could have been back in the same situation of still having to pay for the damages. So the useless date would have been a waste. The guy could have been a violent murderer mad because he didn't get his way after the date went south. People have been killed for less. I don't see how OP is wrong for her decision. She didn't want to prostitute herself out to some weird guy who wanted to blackmail her into something she didn't want to do.
