Today, I received a "diamond ring" in Mafia Wars (a facebook app) from my boyfriend of 3 years. Along with the ring came a message. It read, "Will you marry me?" He was serious. FML

I don't think we need to worry about reproduction. You have to be there in person for that too. If they're that easily swayed by an internet proposal, I'm sure text messages will be their preferred method of sexual contact.

I don't see what you're whining about. I'd rather be proposed by my boyfriend in a creative way, instead of the traditional one. And I personally don't care for expensive jewelry anyway, it's rather useless - I'd happily take a quarter machine plastic ring as long as he gave it to me with a meaning.

i could see how this could be a FML cause every girl dreams about being proposed to and thier bf down on one knee, cause honestly thats how i picture mine. But its a good thing cause hes showing that he wants to be with you forever and your the love of his life. Just be happy he proposed to you.
