Today, I searched for free parking near my work for 30 minutes, trying to avoid paying $12 at a pay lot. I scored a spot, but 1 mile away from the office. I trekked through rain, cold, and got to work late. It was a long hard day, crawled back to my car, and had a $30 ticket on my windshield. FML

You don't get a parking ticket for no reason. You get a parking ticket if you parked wrong, or you parked in a no parking zone, or if you park in a spot that there's no parking during a certain time of the day. If you can't be bothered to read the damn signs, then YDI. You know what I did, when I realized it would be impossible for me to find on campus parking at my school at 10am? I paid for parking the first day, and then I went driving around to find the closest FREE legal street parking. Yeah, it's a mile away. And no, I won't get a ticket, because I READ THE PARKING SIGNS and know when it's illegal to park, and when it's not. So I don't get tickets.

Well, hahaYDI, my post was primarily about idiots and their comments on this site, not the situation of the OP (although I did put in my two cents). But maybe I will write a book about retards on the Internet (has that really not been done yet?) Maybe I could interview you to get a better look at the retard community and how they operate =) If you don't like long comments, don't bother reading them. I imagine someone who thinks reading a few paragraphs is the same type of person who'd bitch about having to walk one single mile...lol. FYL for missing brain cells

Hahahaha my mom once parked at a resturant near the hospital she was going to to avoid the $5 parking fee, but got a ticket $150 ticket because she wasnt a cutsomer
