You're going to get a response like that from someone when you say something that naive-sounding. Additionally, sending a lot of people a text that says, "You're beautiful," with no explanation as to why this is the case cancels it out for those who may be dealing with issues about their beauty. If you send a girl who thinks she's ugly a text that says what yours did and she realizes a girl she thinks is on the high end of the hotness scale received the same one, she's going to think it's bullshit, and she's probably right. "Inspirational" quotes sent in a way that might appear to be personal but are actually sent to many people are just a bad idea at best. YDI.
