Today, I spilled some milk on my laptop. I was pretty sure it would be fine as it was only a bit of milk. While cleaning the residue, I knocked a whole bucket of water into the insides of the laptop. RIP Macbook. FML

Today, while working on my laptop, I accidentally spilled a glass of water. I quickly moved my laptop out of the way of the oncoming stream. It fell on the floor and broke. FML

Today, I decided to be healthy and drink a tall glass of water whilst doing my assignment that is due in three days. I managed to spill the entire glass over my laptop. I flipped it over and used a hairdryer to dry it off. While doing that, I managed to melt my keyboard. FML

Today, I received my new laptop in the mail and put it on the kitchen counter, where my family charges all our electronics. My mom then decided to make soup and spilt chicken broth all over my new laptop before I even got the chance to turn it on. FML

Today, I bought myself my first gaming PC for Christmas. After two hours of setting it up, I proceeded to spill a full cup of coffee in to it and slowly watched it die. I'm an electronic technician so I knew better then to have my coffee anywhere near it. FML

Today, I was giving a presentation at work but accidentally spilled water all over my laptop. I tried to dry it off, but it wouldn't turn on. I had to give the presentation awkwardly using my phone and everyone took the piss out of me and my shoddy performance. FML

why is this hard top understand. The bucket of water was there to clean the macbook. No the OP didnt need a full bucket of water but thats what they did. They didn't just happen to have a bucket of water lying around. OP what would have been a better idea is using one of those spongy cloths, the thin ones, that way it would have fitted (well almost) between the keys on your keyboard. No nasty milky smell :)

buy a pc with the same hardware as a mac, hack it to install the mac os, save a bunch of money. then it will not suck so bad to drop it into a bucket.

actually if you look at the specs on a mac and the specs on a pc the mac is usually significantly less powerful. pc operating systems work perfectly fine, only issue I had was my mom turned it off during an update when it said don't turn off the computer, but that's people error, not software

Macs are the best way to go for a computer. they have a lot more than just a trackpad and a cool design. my boyfriend has a Macbook and its far better than my dell. it has a large processor and is always fast

You are so right, not getting viruses really sucks. I hate not having to crash my system every 6 months. And those blue screen of death withdrawls... really, it's just AWFUL.
