Don't name her tabitha. A tabitha will act like the crazy and supposedly dead girl who tried to kill you and also happens to be the twin sister of your dead best friend whom she killed and because you think tabitha is this girl you will push her off a tall balcony in Jamaica and the cops will find her body a year later and the guilt will gnaw at you like a message from A. You will then find out tabithas stepmother is the crazy women who tried to adopt your friend Emily's secret baby and tried to track you down for the money you owe her. Just, don't name your daughter tabitha. But DO read the Pretty Little Liars series!!!! Even though I spoiled the two latest books...
And suddenly, you sound crazier than OP's wife.
That is hormones. She is just nuts
Try Lilliana... Beautiful name, not common and has plenty of the letter 'L' :)
She's not crazy and it's not just hormones. This is grapheme-colour synaesthesia (with some personification, by the sound of it.) It's the most common type of synaesthesia (I think I read that up to 1 in 23 people have it) and it tends to run in families, so there's a good chance your daughter has it too. I have it, and so do my brother and father. Read up on it, try to imagine what it would be like to automatically associate your own daughter's name with an unpleasant personality (because it is automatic; she can't help it) and find a name you like that doesn't start with T. The specific colours, textures, personalities associated with each letter are different for different people, so I sure hope that after you find a name that your wife likes, your daughter doesn't end up disliking her own name for similar reasons. It's not a problem for me since I for me the letters only have colours and sometimes textures, not personalities, so my name (which is a slightly pinkish red) is not so disagreeable.
LNamesOnly, do you remember how your wife got pregnant? Yes, so this is on you then; YDI.
Tabitha is the little girl witch on "Bewitched," a sitcom from the 60's. It's always on re-runs, so it's only a matter of time before they start teasing her about being a witch. Have you thought of naming her "Mrs. Kravitz?"
My name is Tabitha, named after bewitched and never once in my life have I been teased about being a witch.. just saying.
86 - The witches in bewitched aren't Wiccans. Shut up and quit crying prejudice. Oh, and perdix is right regardless of what one might mean by saying "witch".
#118, I'm so sorry, Tabitha, that you live among such ignorant, bckward folk. I feel so bad that you have probably never heard a good debate of whether Dick York or Dick Sargent was the better Darren. You think the Team Edward/Team Jacob fued is intense, the rumbles between the Sargentites and the Yorkies resulted in widespread bloodshed.
My name is Tabetha also, and no one calls me a witch.. they mostly just ask if I can wiggle my nose lol.
I think someone had problems with the fridge magnets as a child...
Tabitha is kind of a lesbian name...

I recently discovered a kind of 'disease' where the people who have it connect letters and/or numbers with colours. Let me Google it... Synesthesia, that's the one.
Its just the hormones, nothin to worry about
