What were you thinking....hope you didn't get fired:/
I think it's legal to sue. And if it is, I'd sue you for the ambulance ride YOU had to call for. Good way to also lose your job.
You don't need an ambulance in order to sue. It's battery as soon as the perfume comes in contact with your clothes. That's unwanted touching. Although I don't recommend law suit just for annoyance.
It never occurred to you that you shouldn't just spray things on people without asking? Really?
I would have fired you op for doing something like that. You should never expose someone involuntarily to a potential allergen. You are lucky that the person didn't die
That's assuming the person didn't later or something... Even if the patient is stable, an anaphylactic reaction can flair back up for up to 72 hours or so. They're likely going to be observed in the hospital for a few days. Hopefully OP just ruined the person's day/week and not life.
I have enough trouble shopping with people shoving samples at me. I'd end up freaking out if something was sprayed at me.
YDI for thinking that spraying random people with perfume is creative.
why would the person go into the store in the first place
true I got confused nvm
to buy stuff, or check something out.
And a lot of department stores have the perfume/makeup section placed at the only entrance to the rest of the mall. (If it's in a mall setting, that is)
There's nothing creative about that! That behavior has been mocked for decades on TV. F that woman's L for coming across an idiot like you. You're the scum of department stores.
It's already annoying when those sellers stop me to sample their lotion or perfume, it would've made me mad if someone sprayed it at me without asking. YDI. Next time just stick to asking. What were you even trying to accomplish..
What happened to handing out those little paper sticks with perfume ob it anyways?
Similar situation happened to me. I'm very allergic to vanilla, especially the scent of it (no idea why), and a friend didn't believe me and sprayed me with her perfume. I know what to do in situations like that, luckily. This woman obviously wasn't so lucky. YDI.
What DO you do in situations like that?
I run to a bathroom and scrub it all off, then get some fresh air before I can't breath. I have been hospitalized for this in the past though.

I someone sprayed perfume in my face I'd be like wtf.
I would be seriously annoyed if someone sprayed me with perfume without asking me, allergy or not. Asshole move. You should ask people beforehand, OP, YDI
