Today, I stepped outside for a smoke. It was 1 a.m. Thinking no one was around, I let out a series of loud, nasty-sounding farts. I looked over to my left to see the neighbor, whom I've never met, also smoking, and staring at me. That was his first impression of me. FML

everyone saying smoking is disgusting, i think it is too, but some people enjoy it for relaxing. it's legal and it's a personal choice. i'm sure you've all done something that was bad for you. i wouldn't smoke, i don't like the smell of cigarettes, but i don't give a **** what other people chose to do. let them live their life. it's not hurting you, get over it. as for the farting thing, op, you don't sound very classy. haha. if you have to fart, you have to fart. but you can go inside your house. yeah, if you are out somewhere and can't get away from people and you fart that sucks. but you deserve this for farting loudly OUTSIDE. but you can smoke if you want to. and you can fart outside if you want to, but things like this will happen. so either stop being embarrassed, or fart elsewhere.

I used to smoke, so yes, I have a personal connection to my disgust in them. They controlled my life for two years. They were a crutch and sucked the money out of my wallet.

Its only really a YDI for not checking first although I probably wouldnt think to do it in the comfort of my own porch either. Its really not an FML cause the guy prolly thought it was the funniest thing ever, his neighbor didnt kno he was there and farts up a storm, lol its prolly on immd right now :P Though he's now always gonna think of you as farty farty stink girl but unless you like him or something who gives a flying ****... and if you dooo like him you prolly just seem more approachable to him now :P
