I just read the directions over and over again until I felt confident that I wouldn't **** it up, especially since mine did not come with an applicator. Also, you have to make sure you are relaxed when you insert it or else it would just make the task harder.

I.... Don't get it. I don't get how come most girls fail at putting a tampon! It should go in easy because period blood lubricates. If it doesn't then your tampon is way too big for you! Once I gave one to my friend and she told me she couldn't put because she didn't find the hole *facepalm*

it gets easier with time (: I started using em years before I had sex so kinda felt the same way. just relax (: one foot up on the toilet seat makes it a bit easier. don't worry about it too much
