Today, I texted my Dad to tell him I'm staying at my boyfriend's house and won't be home. Since I had predictive text on, my phone didn't quite get the word 'home' - the message I sent said, 'I'm staying at Will's, I'll not be good tonight.' FML

With my phone, there is a button I press that shows me the words that it could use one at a time. But thats just me. This is why I use a keyboard now. I type it twice as fast.

this is why keyboard phones are needed ! if i tried to explain the predicting text to my parents they wouldnt understand what im talking about, so im happy to have keyboard phone :P

That's why you keep it short and simple. I sent this to my friend "Was at food court. on way back." and he understood it perfectly. Also I was texting with one hand and holding my soda in the other but hey it worked!

HAhaha I did a similar thing, but it was when I was texting my boyfriend. I was going to text "Last night my mom was wondering if you could bring it today" but whe I reached "Wondering", predictive text changed it to "wonderful". My *send* button is RIGHT next to the delete button... My boyfriend got a message saying "Last night my mom was wonderful"
