reall? do you know nothing about basic physics. the hockey stick would break if the bowling ball was tossed at you. its hitting the wider end of a wooden stick with quite a long space between you and the blade plus bowling balls are all pretty heavy. if my some chance it didnt snap you are going to hurt your arms from the impact.

God I hope you never have kids... There is way more to this story then told, I could go outside right now and 10 times out of 10 I won't get hurt hitting a basketball with a bat.

I'm gonna get down voted into oblivion for this, but I think we're being a little too harsh on OP. I remember doing the same thing back in my youth and never thought anything bad would come of it. It's not like he stuck a knife in a toaster. He hit a basketball with a baseball bat thinking it'd be harmless fun. We may not know his age or how hard he hit it, but it seems like it was just OP having a little fun and it blew up (literally maybe?) in his face.
