Sometimes there's a good reason to delay confessing your feelings for a crush (like relationships that the crusher or the crushee might already be in, distance between the two parties, or other things that would make things awkward or overly complicated) Kudos, OP, for having ovaries of steel, but now it's time to swallow rejection, and move on.
