it must suck being "rejected" i guess it is in this situation... But you maybe should have gone out with this guy before just pouring out the "L" word to him... Love is such a strong word just like hate, use it wisely, and if you really like this guy, why didn't you just say "I really like you."? It would have been a little less awkward for both of you, and might have raised your chances by saying "like" rather than "love"... Anyways I hope you'll find someone who will love you back, but make sure you use the "L" word more carefully :)

Yeah, at least you know now. Had that happen once, and contrary to what most of these guys here are saying, he probably already knew you liked him. People know things, and they generally can tell when someone likes him or her. So can't tell whether or he was trying to be nice or not, but in the end the result is the same. If he wasn't, then he is a douche and you are better off without him though I am sure it doesn't feel like it. If he was, then he was being nice but he still isn't interested. Either way, he isn't interested. Either way, he isn't interested and it wasn't meant to be. Just try to keep moving forward and be sure you are keeping up with your other interests. And, exercise always helps because it releases endorphins and serotonin which will raise your mood. Good luck, you will find someone!
