Look in the classes or activities sections. Or Meetup is good. I found a lot of cool friends on there just doing activities that our group is interested in. I know it sucks finding new friends when out of school, and sometimes you don't have that much in common with co-workers enough to hang out. Good luck!

There is absolutely nothing wrong with that. It's the exact same as meeting a stranger at a mall or concert. Just behind a computer first. Some are good some are bad. EXACTLY like meeting someone at say, a bar.
