Today, I visited the hospital with my boyfriend to have an injury checked. When the doctor removed the band-aid, my boyfriend started screaming and passed out. I had to get him out of the room using a wheelchair. The "injury" is a cut in his finger. FML

Okay, I'm going to get a lot of hate for this, but your boyfriend is a wuss. There, I said it. And yes, I assume he does have a fear of blood. A lot of people do. Most people don't let themselves get so worked up that they scream in public and then pass out. Why didn't he just look away? He really needs to learn how to handle this fear of his better. What if, next time, it's you that needs a trip to the emergency room? Is he going to scream his head off and pass out while you bleed to death?

no I am actually on your side here, i get that some people have issues dealing with cuts / blood etc but this seems like a combination of that and drama queen

Yeah I don't like seeing my own blood so I turn my head when I give blood... otherwise I'll pass out too. fear and phobia is one thing but there are ways to conquer it.

I have hemophobia (fear of blood) so I might have done the same thing. Everyone has their fears OP, hope your BF is ok!

A cut that could be covered by a Bandaid? Really? I guess all the clinics were closed. Smh. I would be too embarrassed to bring him to the hospital. What a guy. You are a kind girlfriend.
