The FML doesn't mention through which door she walked. For example, she could have been taking a walk or gardening out back for a half hour. When she came in, she heard her husband calling her to the bedroom. She makes a mental leap. Boom: FML.

To clarify, "out back" means "in the back yard, unable to see the driveway."
