Today, I was a TA for a history class and the class was taking a test. About halfway through, I noticed one kid had a small piece of paper in his hand. I ran up the row, grabbed his test, and ripped it into four pieces. Then I took the note from him. It said "I believe in you, -Mom." FML

You did nothing wrong. No matter what the student was thinking at the time s/he shouldn't have had the piece of paper out. It's a test only the required materials should be out, and the last time I checked an encouraging letter from one's mother is not required for any test.

You are an insensitive idiot! What on earth are you doing teaching children?! For the love of God learn to not jump to conclusions, and even when you do don't be such an ars*hole!!!
