Today, I was alone with a work acquaintance at lunch. A noise came from his pocket; he whipped out his iPod Touch and said "Sorry, I have to take this," before walking away with the iPod to his ear. Not only did he not want to talk to me, he thought I was stupid enough to confuse an iPod with a phone. FML

Also, the iPod Touch, when connected to a Wi-Fi signal, can act like a phone with programs like Skype.

Could of had the Skype app on an iPod Touch.

Uhm, iTouches look almost EXACTLY like iPhones. This isn't worth being an FML.

u can hack u itouch to make it an iphone ,man

f YOUR life for not thinking of an iPhone. they look just like the iPod Touch. you're really smart.

I have to say, it was most likely an iPhone. An iPod Touch can't exactly read your mind and start playing music right when you want to get away from someone. Common sense could tell you that. And to #22, the 2nd Generation iPod touch has speakers, and can play with or without headphones. The 1st Generation does need headphones to play.

I have my iPod Touch in my purse @ word all the time, so that wouldn't surprise me. (Also, if you aren't allowed to have streaming music on the comp, it comes in handy. :) ) But, there is a noticeable difference between the Touch & the iPhone... I don't know anything about the apps you can get to use the Touch as a phone, but I can imagine someone would notice if it was an iPod versus the phone.

Iphone? That's your fail right there. But keep in mind guys, intellegence doesn't come from knowledge of Apple products.

sorry, i think it was an iphone. sucks to be you either way, because one way he really doesn't want to talk to you, and the other, you're completely paranoid and therefore annoying to anyone with a brain. but seriously, it was probably an iphone.
