Today, I was at a restaurant when I heard a young girl telling her father she didn't think she was pretty. When I got up to leave, I walked past her table and told her she was beautiful. Her dad then punched me in the face. FML

Today, I was eating at a restaurant when a man came up to me and said, "You're pathetic for having lunch with someone that much older than you." My dad immediately got up and punched the man in the face. My fiancé's parents had to walk in the door right as it happened. FML

Today, I went out to eat at a restaurant. When the waitress saw me, she continously told me how beautiful and kind I was. Flattered, I just said thank you. Five minutes later, one of the ugliest girls I've ever seen in my life walked in. The waitress told her the same exact things she told me. FML

Today, I was eating at a restaurant in town, when a small boy started looking at me. I simply smiled and went back to eating, only to hear out of the corner of my ear, "Daddy, why does that kid's face look like that"? He said it so loud, the three tables next to us turned and looked. FML

You should have said that she was a very adorable little girl, and would grow up beautiful. Rather than flat out beautiful. But I dont think you deserved it, now her daddy traumatized her more. Lmao, j/k about the traumatize. But I bet she'll think any guy who says she's hot cute beautiful, will be hurt. =]

How creepy this is depends on how old the girl was... But if she was young enough that her father would punch you like that, you probably should have adressed the father and said his daughter is beautiful.

It makes me kind of sad when I read an FML where someone was trying to do a genuinely nice thing. This was very sweet; sorry the dad was an assbutt. :)
