Today, I was at my friends' farm and we decided that we wanted to go to their old treehouse. When we got down there, it turned out my friend Cat had forgotten her shoes. Being a gentleman, I lent her my sandals. I then climbed the treehouse, fell out, and got a nail through my foot. FML

I did that!! When I was nine, I had those little canvas shoes on, believe me - the sandals wouldn't have helped!!

That really sucks but sandals wouldn't have protected you fully from that >< Depending on how deep it went. I hope you went and got a tetanus shot!

That was really nice of you to loan her your shoes. It suuuuuuucks that you got injured, although your sandals wouldn't have stopped that nail anyway.

would've gone thru the shoe anyway. so, you were a gentleman, and your shoe didn't get broken. best scenario possible... except for those which don't involve you piercing your foot.
