Today, I was bored at my job at Home Depot. I got a bar code tattoo 3 weeks ago and thought it would be funny to scan it. I'm a $5.98 160z claw hammer. FML

Could be worse- at the grocery store you might be a $0.69 can of green beans. And at the drugstore you could be Preparation H. In fact, that should be your new goal- to go around and find out what you are at various stores.

This is not the worst thing that has ever happened, chill.... and on the very small chance that this is true... so what? how is this a problem? do people randomly scan you on the street or something? or even if they did... I fail to see how this is a problem whatsoever

@29 I don't care if the FML is fake but it has to be at least believable. I have an issue when people just make up (as others said) a non-FML post and also that it's fake. Sure I get a chuckle out of FMLs that are fake but you can actually believe, however I'm not going to just sit here and have some guy tell a fake story that is so unbelievable just for attention. Plus having a friend that had a barcode tattoo, he tried the same thing and it didn't work. I think the same thing happened to the OP but to make it sound cooler he decided to say he's worth something. Fake, non-FML and dumb. At least numb my brain with a story versus trying to sling a huge load of shit and expecting people to believe it.

I agree, that's bogus. This is definately shenanigans. The chances of the bar corde you have tattooed on you even being in your store inventory is slim. Plus, the odds of the tattoo artist doing an absolutely flawless job at making the lines... slimmer. This guys bogus FML needs to make its way over to fail blog under FML Fail.
