Today, I was carrying my four-month-old son in a checkout line. An older couple behind us remarked that I would spoil my son if I carried him everywhere. My son responded by projectile vomiting all over the wife, then looked at me and giggled. FML

hi. OP here. I said FML because I ended up having to apologize and act as if I was sincere. I failed miserably and ended up laughing hysterically. I did feel a little bad.

That is awesome! Why wouldn't you be carrying your child? What are your options, push both a shopping cart and a stroller or put the 4 month old in the filthy germ invested cart (seriously with how many children sit in those things they're disease nests, most stores don't wipe them at the end of the day either) where if he doesn't get sick, he'll probably slam his head off the front or the back of it since he doesn't have very strong muscles yet. Plus the damn kid is 4 months, this is one of his first experiences at a store, it's loud and full of strangers, probably all in all a bit scary, I'd be holding my kid too to give him some comfort.
