alright I can see where this guy is coming from not in sadistic evil laugh kinda way but I think the reason he does is bc you're beautiful when let your emotions flow freely from inside and he may enjoy comforting you too it probably makes him feel useful and needed. well there's my long over thought analysis of your situation hope works out for ya! you may not have been looking for any real response but you got one haha :p

When I was crying over my cat dying, my boyfriend at the time started screaming at me: "What did I do?! Omfg stop being such a drama queen over every breath I take!" The cat had died like 5 minutes earlier. At least your boyfriend was kind of (awkwardly failing at) trying to comfort you? I'm sorry about your cat :( I know it really sucks.
