Today, I was driving into a parking lot with some friends. I carelessly passed a sign when my friend said, "Wait what did that sign say?" I backed up to read it and guess what it said: "Severe Tire Damage. Do Not Back Up." Now all 4 of my tires are slashed. FML

hahaha, the exact same thing happened to my dad when I was little, except he only blew out the back two tires.

Sounds like you friend knew what the sign said and wanted to see what you would do, and probably laughed when your tires got slashed. I know not everyone reads every sign they come across (you see the first part and automatically think you know what it says - your brain is trained to do that), so I don't blame you for that. But I do think you have really poor taste in friends.

The OP has obviously never driven before. Otherwise, you would have heard the noise it makes when you drive over them in the right direction. These things are not difficult to see. That's like saying you didn't see the four dogs laying across the road right before running them over. And as someone else pointed out, you would have to be an idiot to blowout the first two and continue another 6-8 feet in order to blowout the other two.
