Today, I was drunk at my nan's birthday party. My boyfriend texted me asking if I could go out, to which I replied "No, I'm at my nan's house." He then dumped me, calling me a 'cheating whore.' I was confused, until I realised I'd misspelt nan and said "No, I'm at my man's house." FML

Hahaha. Just tell him what you meant to say. It was just a text. Mistakes happen.

#36, are you kidding me? texting is an easier way to communicate with people, it doesn't mean that they are lazy pieces of shit. everyone i know texts. welcome to the 20th century idiot.

What a mistake to make. You certainly didn't deserve that one, anyone can make a spelling mistake without realizing.

Sounds like he's pretty insecure! Everyone makes typos in texting. A "normal person" would have responded with "Um...what?" and not immediately decided that a) you were cheating and b) you were dumb enough to tell him via text message.

Hey guys, I get drunk with my family all the time. My 'nan' and 'grandad' (they're actually my great-aunt and uncle, but y'know) are great lulz! Anyway, I don't believe this story, sorry. No one could seriously dump someone over that, unless things were very rocky, yadda yadda.

lmao so sounds like a smooth move i'd make. kiss and make up and you 2 will be all better..lol
