Today, I was eating with my boyfriend and his family at a high-end restaurant when, suddenly, I screamed, thinking a dog had just bitten my leg. I am terrified of dogs. I kicked my under-the-table assailant as hard as I could. It was my boyfriend's adorable five-year-old sister. FML

Adding insult to injury

Today, my mom's super spoiled small demon dog attacked my 3 year-old daughter, mauling her leg. Out of instinct, I kicked it away, causing it to fly across the room yelping. I picked up my daughter and took her straight to the hospital, where she got stitches. Later that night, I was greeted with a vet bill. FML

Today, I got bitten by my aunt's dog. My brother was holding the leash. He said he didn't pull the dog away from me because he didn't want to rip my shirt. Meanwhile, the dog was biting a penny-sized chunk out of my hip. FML

Today, the family dog was in the garbage and wouldn't stop eating. He is a large dog, and I had to put my arms around him and pull him out of the trash can. Well, he bit me so hard I was bleeding. My whole family is siding with the dog and saying it was my fault for not letting him eat. FML

@#178 everyone acts like you should expect a toddler to be running around under your table biting you. imagine yourself in this situation, you fear X and X might be under the table due to the influence of a stimuli the bite, we'll assume it was a bite. so, you have 2 options X who will do the action under normal circumstances, or Y which should not be expected to do so, and as it is a phobia, x will automatically go into her mind. So something you fear might or might not be biting your leg, it is the only thing that should be down there(kids don't belong on the floor) the natural logic is to assume that x is correct. of course the logic didn't work but tell me why one would assume a young child rather than a dog to be biting someone

Everyone keeps saying she is stupid for thinking a dog would be in there, but why the **** would you think a kid is under the table? If suddenly I got bit, I wouldn't think anything I'd kick too.. Stupid brat got what she deserved!! Should have done it a few times.

Someone should bite # 37 good and hard, and see if he/she dosen't kick. # 37 shouldn't have kids. They are probably all spoiled reprobates that can get away with anything. I hope the kid isn't seriously hurt, but maybe that experience will give her second thoughts in the future about biting.
