I was in hospital for 3 months after a car crash where someone else ran the red light, assuming that no-one was coming the other way. Evidently these cars weren't honking at you to go. Next time use a bit of common sense. & the U-Turn idea is good, not exactly hard either ey?

Haha. You need to learn California roads, or so it seems....you need to stop right at the light, right before the cross walk, or the weight sensor won't know your there. Idiot drivers who don't know that are annoying

well obviously you give into "peer pressure" easily. you obviously start driving when the light is GREEN.

Maybe they were just honking at the situation, not at you? Idk, YDI because you went knowing it's against the law. But, it sucks because the light could've been broken (there ARE stoplights that take 5 mins to change, unfortunately) and you'd still probably be the one to go first. Sucks for you, don't do it next time. Wait for another impatient asshole to go first.

Next time just flash your high beams, move forward or signal for them to go around you.
