Today, I was going to ask this girl I love to homecoming. I set up a scavenger hunt, and my friend led her through it. At the end of the scavenger hunt I had a note that said, "Homecoming?" She said yes and hugged my friend. When I told her it was me who was asking, she laughed and said no. FML

Today, I decided to ask my friend to the school dance, which is one where the girls ask the guys. I spent hours placing signs down his street so he would see them on his way home. As I was waiting in his driveway with balloons, I saw his car reverse and go in the opposite direction. FML

Okay, I'm sorry but you are an idiot. You may "love" this girl however the two of you were never dating. Never ever ever EVER make some elaborate scavenger hunt for someone you are not even dating. It is a recipe for failure.

Today, this this cute guy I really like led me through an elaborate scavenger hunt. At the end, i found a note that said, "Homecoming?" Elated, I said yes and threw my arms around him. then i find out that it was his friend who was asking me to Homecoming, had set up the scavenger hunt, and asked the guy I like to lead me through it. FML.
